  I dined here at the beginning of the summer with my husband and had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, I can't quite remember his name but I believe it began with an A, was very pleasant and attentive. We had an issue with one of our meals which was our fault because we ordered it incorrectly and he was very quick to fix it. Many of the other waitresses looked a bit miserable but both our waiter and the bar tenders we had were great. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The wait to sit outside was a bit long but that is to be expected on a summer evening.

  Really bad expensive New York steak meal. One would think when Settlers Inn bought them the food would improve. Nope!!! I won't eat there again unless it is for a cheese steak on similar simple fare. Even then, probably not.

  Our waitress was wonderful - our food not so much. The "house made" corned beef for the Ruben Sandwhich was not corned beef but overcooked roast beef. The prime rib cheesteak tasted like reheated frozen meat and the bread was soggy from having sat too long under a heat lamp or something. Also, minuscule amount of fries and the pickle I supposedly to have received was a half of a small slice shoved under the Sandwhich. The chowder had little to no flavor either. The fried calamari was good though. I had eaten there earlier in the summer last year and the food was slightly better which I expected hearing that Settlers had taken them over. I was very disappointed with the most recent meal especially at the somewhat higher prices for what we ordered.
